Proposed LRT Extension

The City of Calgary is conducting a feasibility study for a Southeast LRT line. The proposed line will connect downtown with communities in the southeast quadrant of Calgary. The timeline for commencing the construction is about 15 years from now.

One of the options under consideration - the one currently favoured by The City - would follow Ramsay's northeast boundary. A station is proposed for south of the CPR tracks near 10 Street and 11 Avenue SE. Click here for a map of the proposal.

The City is conducting a series of open houses and stakeholder consultation meetings to gather input from affected residents. Ramsay has three Civic Affairs members representing Ramsay involved in the stakeholder group. If you have any comments, concerns, or questions that you would like us to voice to The City, please contact the Civic Affairs Committee. This letter from the City shows that your feedback is important.
